I finally made it to Moab, Utah to experience the world-renowned hiking in Arches National Park. I was in awe of the enormous red rock landscape, and I felt that Moab was such a special place. My husband and I woke up early on a beautiful morning, ready to hike. Our destination was the Delicate Arch. We drove up a zigzagging road to the high plateau area, and the rock formation was stunning. I couldn't resist taking pictures until we arrived at the parking area. We started hiking and climbed up a big, smooth mountain to trails around a mountainside that eventually led us to the Delicate Arch. The hike was about 4 miles. At first, I thought I couldn't make it to the halfway point because the altitude had worn me out, but I decided to challenge myself and completed the hike. I was glad and proud of myself for doing it. It was something I had never tried before, and I felt good about accomplishing it. We took many great photos.
